The plan is to build these Web pages from the LitCrit Outlook form (compose and read pages) using the Microsoft Outlook HTML Form Converter to create the HTML. Certain features supported by Outlook forms cannot be converted to HTML and these features will need to be re-added after form conversion by editing the appropriate ASP files. The following areas need to be reviewed after converting the Outlook form:
When you click the Add Critique button on the Choose Critique or the Search Details Web page, code runs to check if you have previously submitted a critique for the title. If no critique is found the Submit Critique Web page appears and the evaluation fields and critique fields are blank and open for data entry. On the other hand, if an active critique is found the Submit Critique Web page appears and the evaluation fields and critique fields contain editable information from your previous critique. Enter new or edit existing critique information. Select or reselect the four ratings (technical, clarity of presentation, job relevance, and overall rating) from drop-down list boxes. Click Submit to post the review to the LitCrit public folder or click Cancel to return to the Search Details or Choose Critique Web page, depending on which one you accessed the Submit Critique Web page from. Adding a Critique from the CML describes, step-by-step, how the development team envisions a user will add critiques from the browser.
Note You cannot edit a previously submitted critique while it is in the approval process. When you click Add Critique an alert appears telling you not to edit the critique at this time.
Click Read Critique on the Search Details Web page or double-click the critique of interest on the Choose Critique Web page to display the Display Critique Web page. All fields on the Web page are read-only. The top of the page displays the media-type icon, the title of the library item, and the name of the reviewer. The bottom of the page displays the four ratings and the names of the ratings, the critique title, and the critique text. Click Close to return to the Choose Critique Web page. Reading a Critique from the CML describes, step-by-step, how the development team envisions the user will read critiques in the browser.
