When you use LitCrit in stand-alone mode, Microsoft Outlook is your tool for writing critiques that are then posted to a public folder. Public folders reside in the public information store of Microsoft Exchange Server. All the advantages of using Exchange Server are realized, such as storage of text in rich-text format and automatic information-store replication. The directory of Exchange Server, which contains user information for an organization, contributes the name of the reviewer that appears on the read-only LitCrit Outlook form.
The book club version of the LitCrit Outlook application is not capable of writing data to the FmLib database and sharing critiques with the Corporate Media Library (CML) application.
