Creating and Configuring the LitCrit Public Folder
This procedure assumes you have permissions to create the LitCrit public folder on the Exchange server. If you do not have sufficient privileges, you may need to ask your Exchange administrator to perform these steps for you.
To create and configure the LitCrit public folder
- Start Microsoft® Outlook®. If the folder hierarchy is not visible, click Folder List on the View menu.
- Expand the Public Folders node and right-click the All Public Folders folder.
- Click New Folder. The Create New Folder dialog box appears.
- Type the name of the folder in the Name text box. In this case, type "LitCrit." The Folder contains list box shows "Mail Items" as the default setting. Although this folder will contain critiques that are posted, accept the default. Click OK on the Create New Folder dialog box.
- Right-click the LitCrit public folder you just created. Click Properties to display the LitCrit Properties dialog box.
- On the General tab, type a description for the LitCrit public folder in the Description text box. In the When posting to this folder, use list box click Forms and select the EnhancedLitCrit form in the Choose Form dialog box. Click Open.
- Click OK to close the LitCrit Properties dialog box.
In the following procedures, you will be working with the LitCrit public folder, so if you have given it another name, remember to use that name instead of "LitCrit."
