Converting the LitCrit Form

These are the general steps you need to follow to create an HTML version of the LitCrit form:

To create the HTML version of the LitCrit form

  1. Know which form to convert. For LitCrit, this was the IPM.Post.EnhancedLitCrit message class. See Choosing Forms to Convert.
  2. Convert the form, using the Form Converter. See Converting the LitCrit Form.
  3. Examine the Todo.txt file. Form generation also produces a file called Todo.txt, which you can find in the folder where the form's generated files are saved; see Location of Generated Files. If a problem is encountered during form generation, it is noted in this file as a "to-do" task that you can complete afterwards. These tasks often include working with the form's graphical elements. See Changing the Converted Form.
  4. You may need to re-create the form's script. Script in the original Outlook form is not carried over to the HTML form. See What Happened to the Script?

After these steps are completed, the form can be run in the context of Outlook Web Access. See Running the Converted LitCrit Form.
