Using the Form Converter Wizard

Before performing these steps, be sure the Microsoft Outlook HTML Form Converter is installed. For more information, see About the Outlook HTML Form Converter.

To convert a form, you will need to know the name of the published Outlook form being converted — in this case, EnhancedLitCrit — and the name of the Microsoft Exchange Server computer on which that form has been published. For more information on publishing forms, see the Deployment topic Publishing the EnhancedLitCrit Form.

To use the Form Converter wizard

  1. Quit Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Start the Form Converter wizard by clicking Start and pointing to Programs. Then, on the Programs menu, click Microsoft Outlook HTML Form Converter.
  3. On Step 2 of 4 of the Form Converter, choose the type of form to convert. For EnhancedLitCrit, click Microsoft Exchange Forms Library form.
  4. On this same page (Step 2 of 4 of the Form Converter wizard), choose an Exchange Server computer on which you want the form to be saved. This should be the same computer on which Outlook Web Access is installed. Click Next. The message "Connecting to Microsoft Exchange" is displayed.
  5. You will be asked to choose a profile. Be sure that the Microsoft Exchange Server computer defined in this profile is the one on which the forms are published.
  6. If on Step 2 of 4 of the Form Converter wizard you chose a form installed in a forms library (this is the case for the EnhancedLitCrit form), go to step 7. If you chose to convert a form saved as an Outlook template, go to step 8.
  7. Choose a forms library and then one or more forms. For this example, choose EnhancedLitCrit and click Next. Go to step 9.
  8. In the Outlook Forms list box on Step 3 of 4 of the Form Converter wizard, click a form to convert and click Next.
  9. On Step 4 of 4 of the Form Converter wizard, click Overwrite existing form and click Finish. The Converting form(s) message box is displayed.
  10. When the Form Converter is finished, it displays a window indicating the results of the conversion. If further customization of your form is necessary, the Form Converter generates a to-do list and displays it in this window.
