Because the combined CML/LitCrit application is based on the original Corporate Media Library (CML) application, its technology usage is very similar; see Tools and Technologies in the CML. The main addition is a much more extensive use of Microsoft® Exchange Server, and a corresponding use of Microsoft Outlook® to provide a natural user interface to the application's Exchange Server public folder.
