An evaluator is in charge of one or more groups. Although administrators create groups and populate them, evaluators shape the learning or testing experience of the group by creating and assigning activities to group members, evaluating group members' performances for those activities (for evaluators the capability to adjust scores is unlimited), and maintaining activity records in the Eval database.
Examples of evaluators are managers in a corporation, test administrators in a testing and training organization, and teachers in a school.
An evaluator can also be an individual or auditor in a group that he or she does not manage; in this case, the Eval database associates multiple roles with one person. If a person has multiple roles, the Choose Role screen is displayed when that person logs on.
