The following table summarizes many of the tasks or rights of administrators, evaluators, individuals, and auditors. The first tasks the table lists are tasks that administrators perform using the PT Admin application. Users perform the rest of the tasks using the PT User application.
Although the PT application lets you enter your own personal information into the Eval database, you must first be recognized as a member of the Windows NT® local group account (or of the Active Directory™ on a Windows® 2000 system). Similarly, you can voluntarily join a group only if a record for you is already present in the Eval database.
