Week-Day Formats

The Group form uses a set of seven check boxes, which allow the user to indicate the days of the week the group meets. The text in the check box label is localized, but there is an additional localization issue—identifying the first day of the week correctly by locale.

In the United States and Japan, the first day of the week is Sunday, but most other locales, including Germany, use Monday as the first day of the week. The sequence of the meeting-day check boxes should reflect this locale-specific convention. The following table lists week-day formats by locale.
