German, Japanese, and U.S. English locales use different formats for dates and times. When users enter date and time information, rules appropriate for the language preference of the user's browser validate the information. If the PT application does not support that preference, the application defaults to the rules for U.S. English. Address formats also vary by locale. The following table lists the various formats for time, date, and address information.
