Standard Buttons

Change, New, and Delete are standard command buttons that appear on the Activity, Activity Type, Group, Location, and User forms in the PT application. The button text is localized. The following table lists these standard buttons and describes the actions that occur when users click them.

Button Action
Change Writes data to a table (Activity, ActivityType, Group, Location, or Person) in the Eval database. The list in the left pane is refreshed.
New Clears the fields on the screen and switches the form to add mode. A subsequent click on Change inserts the record in a table in the Eval database. The PT application automatically displays forms in add mode when they first appear. Clicking an entry from the left pane list switches the form to change mode. Clicking New restores the form to add mode.
Delete Deletes the information in the right pane from a table in the Eval database (Activity, ActivityType, Group, Location, or Person). The list in the left pane is refreshed and the deleted entry no longer appears.
