Removing the Restriction for the Local Host in Directory Security

To allow all administrative users to access the Administration Web Site, you must remove the restriction that allows only the local host to access this site.

If you have just completed the procedure used to identify the random port, you will still be working in Internet Service Manager. Proceed with step 1 of this section to remove this restriction.

To restart Internet Service Manager, follow steps 1 through 3 detailed in Adding a New Virtual Directory on the Administration Web Site and then follow the steps below.

To remove the restriction for the local host in Directory Security

  1. Right-click Administration Web Site to bring up the menu.
