PT Functionality for Individuals
Although the PT Admin application does not implement the Individual role, the functions of that role must be defined so that the Eval database design will support it for the PT User application. Individuals are the persons whose performances the PT application tracks. The highest priority requirement for this group is access to their own performance scores, followed closely by the requirement that no unauthorized persons have access to this information. The ability to protect the privacy of individuals is a key feature of the PT application.
Individuals can view the following information:
- Their own demographic information. Only administrators can modify this data. When an individual's information changes, the individual submits a change request to his or her administrator.
- A list of their current group memberships. Individuals cannot change their group memberships; only administrators can assign individuals to groups and remove individuals from groups.
- Scores for their activities. The final score for an activity is a derived number and individuals can see all the factors that affect their final scores. One view shows all activities for one group. When an individual belongs to multiple groups, the activities for each group appear in a separate view.
- Information about all locations. Individuals can use the PT application's search capability to find a specific location. Search by Keyword describes the search functionality of the PT application.
