Remote Users
Microsoft Exchange Client remote users can establish network connections to personal and public folders on Microsoft Exchange Server computers by using a modem, a telephone line, and remote access software. Users who need access to the client from a remote location using a portable computer have several options for installing the Microsoft Exchange Client. They can install from:

A client installation point.
- A Microsoft Exchange Server compact disc.
- Floppy disks.
To copy Microsoft Exchange Client to floppy disks for remote users to install

Format several floppy disks. Label and number them sequentially.

From the Microsoft Exchange Client compact disc, go to the subdirectory for the client operating system where you are installing Microsoft Exchange Client.

Copy all files except the .cab files to Disk 1. Also copy Exchng1.cab to Disk 1.

Copy Exchng2.cab to Disk 2, Exchng3.cab to Disk 3, and so on until you have copied all of the files to the disks.
