Conventions in this Manual

The following table summarizes the typographic conventions used in the Microsoft Exchange Server Resource Guide.

Convention Description

bold Menus and menu commands, command buttons, property page
and dialog box titles, command-line commands, options, and portions of syntax that must be typed exactly as shown.

Initial Capitals The names of applications, programs, and named windows.

italic Terminology that is being introduced, book titles, and information that you must provide in a code line, directory name, or address.

KEY+KEY Key combinations in which you press and hold down one key and then press another key.

monospace
Examples, sample command lines, program code, and program output.

SMALL CAPITALS The names of keys on the keyboard.
