Changing the Windows NT Registry to Use Russian or East European Character Sets

To use the Russian character set, add the following values to the registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Charset\Koi8-r:

Codepage : REG_DWORD 0x04E3 (1251)

BodyCharset : REG_SZ : koi8-r

To use the Polish, Czech, or Hungarian character set, add the following values to the registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Charset
\iso-8859-2:

Codepage : REG_DWORD 0x04e2 (1250)

BodyCharset : REG_SZ : iso-8859-2
