Building an Instant Collaboration Example

Instant collaborations are applications that are based on Microsoft Outlook's built-in modules. Built-in modules contain predetermined function and design settings, and they require only the services of a public folder to become an instant collaboration.

To create an instant collaboration, first create or locate a public folder to contain the module. Then copy a Tasks, Contacts, Calendar, or Journal built-in module into the public folder. After the module is copied or created in a public folder, the combination of the Microsoft Outlook module and Microsoft Exchange Server public folder result in a collaboration application.
