Servers That Support Other Loads

If your organization supports other applications (such as SQL Server) in addition to Microsoft Exchange Server, or if you use file and print services or domain controllers, you must benchmark the workload and the configuration you expect to run. This is the only reliable way of determining system performance under the expected load. To emulate the Microsoft Exchange Server part of the workload, you can use the Load Simulator utility (Loadsim.exe).
