The ISISTEG utility dumpsterref test can be used if you notice that the Performance Monitor information for Total Count of Recoverable Items or Total Size of Recoverable Items is incorrect for the MSExchangeIS Private object or the MsExchangeIS Public objects. These counts can become incorrect if the information store crashes before the current data is copied to disk. The dumpsterref test is fairly lengthy.
Note Stop the information store service before running ISINTEG.
In the next example, ISINTEG performs the folder and message tests on the private information store database and writes the results to the log file named c:\Systest\Private.log.
isinteg
-pri
-test folder,message -l c:\systest\private.log
In the next example, ISINTEG performs the aclitemref test on the public information store, fixes errors, and then writes the results to the default log file named Isinteg.pub.
isinteg -pub
-fix
-test aclitemref
