Microsoft Exchange Server provides built-in connectivity to foreign messaging systems including X.400, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Microsoft Mail, and Lotus cc:Mail. The Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus cc:Mail provides messaging connectivity and directory synchronization between Microsoft Exchange Server and cc:Mail messaging systems. This facilitates migration from cc:Mail messaging systems to Microsoft Exchange Server and provides for seamless coexistence between the two environments.
