Many organizations that operate internationally or across linguistic barriers must support multiple languages on their site systems and clients. In response to this need, Systems Management Server (SMS) version 2.0 provides several powerful new features to help you centrally manage your international site hierarchy and facilitate the flow of information within sites. For example, SMS 2.0 supports both double-byte character sets (DBCSs) and single-byte character sets (SBCSs) so that you can display and manage both European-language and Asian-language site servers and clients from within the same site hierarchy. SMS 2.0 offers server user interfaces in seven languages, four of which are fully localized — that is, fully translated into the target language — and client user interfaces in 24 languages. With SMS 2.0, you can centralize network administration of your international organization, facilitating the flow of information within organizational units.
