Redirecting Third-Party MIF Files

If you want to include IDMIF or NOIDMIF files created by third-party vendors in your SMS 2.0 installation, you must redirect the output to the correct SMS 2.0 directory.

In SMS 1.2, you could find these files in the Logon.srv\Isvmif.box directory on an SMS logon server. In SMS 2.0, place these files in the %SMS%\Inboxes\Dataldr.box directory on the server or in the target directory on the client.

You can find the path to the target directory by using the following registry keys on the client:

• For NOIDMIF files: HKLM\Software\MS\SMS\Client\Configuration\Client Properties\noidmif directory
• For IDMIF files: HKLM\Software\MS\SMS\Client\Configuration\Client Properties\idmif directory

Third-party applications can use these keys to access the directory path.
