Adding New IDMIF and NOIDMIF Files

As you upgrade your customized SMS 1.2 hardware inventory settings to SMS 2.0, consider adding new architectures, attribute classes, or properties to your system by creating new IDMIF and NOIDMIF files. For more information, see Chapter 10, “Customizing Hardware Inventory.”
