Although the MMC-based SMS Administrator console serves as a front end for the Remote Tools functions, all remote tools are available directly from the Remote.exe program. This program resides in the SMS\Bin\I386 directory.
The command-line options for Remote.exe are:
REMOTE <Address_Type> <Address> [\\<Site Server Name>\]

The server name must be preceded by two back-slashes, and followed by one back-slash.
To identify a client by its resource ID, use the following command:
REMOTE 0 <Resource_ID> [\\<Site Server Name>\]
