The Wuser32 service (for Windows NT) or the Wuser32 pseudo-service (for Windows 95) is the core of all Remote Control operations on the client. To determine whether the Remote Control Agent is running, either use the Windows NT Task List or a third-party task viewer program like Pview95 or Wintop.
A user on the client workstation can also go to Control Panel, double-click the Remote Control icon and click Show Status. If the agent is running, the Remote Control Status Window will appear. This window displays the protocol the agent is using, the agent’s IP/IPX/NetBIOS name and address, the internal version number of the agent software, whether acceleration is loaded, and if compression is high or low.
