Because the Active Desktop constantly polls the user’s desktop for changes, the Wuser32 agent would be forced to react to a steady stream of ScreenChange events under Active Desktop at a rate much higher than in a typical Remote Control session. To alleviate this problem, the Active Desktop is silently disabled on the client when a Remote Control screen-viewing session is established. It is just as silently re-enabled the moment the Remote Control session is completed. Because these actions take place automatically, there is no configurable switch to enable or disable this feature.
