Delete PDF Tool (DeletPDF.exe)

Use the Delete PDF tool to delete unwanted package definition files (PDFs) from the SMS site database. The Delete PDF tool presents a graphical user interface that enables you to connect to the server where the PDFs reside, browse for unwanted PDFs, and then delete these files.

Using Delete PDF

The Delete PDF tool prompts you to enter the information required to connect to server where the SMS Provider installed. Be prepared to enter the following information:

• Server (the name of the server where the SMS Provider resides)
• Site code (the three-letter SMS site code)
• User (the domain and user name)
• Password

The user account that is used to connect to the server must have the necessary rights to delete packages on that server. After you successfully connect to the server, the Delete PDF tool displays all PDFs that are installed. To delete PDFs, select the PDFs you want to delete, and then click Delete.
