Bulk Migration Tool for Host Security Feature

A tool has been provided that will create Window NT domain accounts, enroll users into a host security domain, and synchronize relevant information between the host account and the Windows NT account.

The Host Security Migration tool enables administrators to operate on many user accounts at a time. Further capabilities are listed below. For more information on the Bulk Migration Tool, see the SNA Server online Help.

• Create/delete WinNT accounts
• Create/delete host security domains
• Add/remove individual mappings between host and user accounts
• List mappings of given subset of WinNT users in given subset of host security domains. For example, you can list all mappings for a single WinNT user, or all WinNT users mapped in a given host security domain
• Keep user passwords hidden
• Provide a command line tool
• Dump and restore all user mappings in a WinNT "trust sphere," excluding password information.
