1. The Remote LU and Mode Name may be defined in the APPC subsystem to which you are connecting. If they are defined in the APPC subsystem, they will override the values in the VTAM APPL statement.

2. The PARSESS value in the VTAM APPL statement should be NO for Dependent LU6.2.
