Tools and Utilities
This appendix contains a list of SNA Server tools and utilities located on the Microsoft BackOffice Resource Kit compact disc. These programs are installed by running Setup. A short explanation of each file is provided. For more information on using these tools and utilities, refer to the online Help.
- APPCTest

A Visual Basic application to help developers create APPC APIs. This program tests APPC API verbs and is used in conjunction with the Microsoft SNA Server APPC Programmer’s Guide

Bindery

A network utility that allows you to obtain a list of SNA Server computers, their subdomain names, and their IPX addresses as registered in the NetWare Bindery.

Enumsna

A network utility that allows you to obtain a list of SNA Server computers, their subdomain names, and their IPX address as registered in NetWare Directory Services (NDS).

Filever

A utility that works like the DIR command but also displays file version information.

GetSense

A utility that displays error messages for 4- or 8-digit APPC Sense Codes.

A tool that displays 16-bit Windows processes running on Windows 3.x, Windows 95, or Windows NT systems.
