Binding Fields to Controls

To provide a means for saving and displaying data in a control, the Microsoft Outlook Form Designer lets you associate, or bind, that control to a field. You can bind data to a control with either user-defined fields or predefined Microsoft Outlook fields:

• Bind a control to a user-defined field Click the control's Properties dialog box and then click the Value tab to bind a control to a new field (by clicking New) or an existing field (by clicking Choose Field). The initial value for the control can also be set by entering a value into the Value property.
• Bind a control to a predefined Microsoft Outlook field Click the control's Properties dialog box and then click the Value tab to bind a control to an existing field (by clicking Choose Field). The initial value for the control can also be set by entering a value into the Value property.
