Converting a Microsoft Outlook Template

Microsoft Outlook templates are predefined items, stored as files with an .oft extension, that you can use to quickly create common types of items, such as messages, forms, journal entries, or tasks. For more information, see Forms, Items, and Message Classes.

You can create your own templates from items you have saved or you can use the templates provided with Microsoft Outlook.

If you clicked Outlook Template in step 2, you see the following screen:

Select a template from this folder, or find a different folder and select one there, and then click Open.
