Platform SDK: CDO for Windows 2000 |
The ReplyAll method creates and returns another Message object that can be used to reply to the sender and all recipients.
[Visual Basic] Function ReplyAll() as CDO.Message [C++] HRESULT ReplyAll(IMessage** pVal); [IDL] HRESULT ReplyAll([out,retval] IMessage** pVal);
The ReplyAll method puts the sender of this message in the To property of the new message and retains all other recipients in the appropriate To, CC, and BCC properties, but removes any attachments. The To property is normally set from the From property of this message, but if the ReplyTo property is set, it is used instead.
If the configuration field http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/usemessageresponsetext is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE), the original message is formatted as shown in the following example:
-----Original Message----- From:"Person" <person@microsoft.com> Sent:Tue, 23 Mar 1998 12:41:37 -0800 To:"Person A" <personA@microsoft.com> Subject:Hello There
The message response text is localized into the language specified by the http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/languagecode configuration field.
