If you are running Windows NT Server, you can tune cache vs. process working set behavior by using the Network option of Control Panel. After choosing the Network icon, in the Installed Network Software list box select Server and choose the Configure button. In the Server dialog box, select Maximize Throughput for File Sharing, to favor the cache. To favor process working sets, select Maximize Throughput for Network Applications.
