You are not required to uninstall previous versions of the MSDN Library that use InfoViewer 5.0 technology. For example, the July 1998 MSDN Library and all earlier libraries will coexist with the Visual Studio 6.0 edition of the MSDN Library.
If you do wish to uninstall any Library, always use the Add/Remove Programs option from the Control Panel or the Setup program from the CD of the MSDN Library you wish to uninstall.
