D3DXQuaternionConjugate

The D3DXQuaternionConjugate function returns the conjugate of the given quaternion.

D3DXQUATERNION* D3DXQuaternionConjugate(
  D3DXQUATERNION* pOut,
  const D3DXQUATERNION* pQ
);

Parameters

pOut
A pointer to the D3DXQUATERNION structure that is the result of the operation.
pQ
A pointer to the source D3DXQUATERNION structure.

Return Values

A pointer to a D3DXQUATERNION structure that is the conjugate of the given quaternion.

Remarks

Given a quaternion (x, y, z, w), the D3DXQuaternionConjugate function will return the quaternion (-x, -y, -z, w).

The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOut parameter. In this way, the D3DXQuaternionConjugate function can be used as a parameter for another function.
