D3DXMatrixRotationZ

The D3DXMatrixRotationZ function builds a matrix which rotates around the z-axis.

Parameters

pOut
A pointer to the D3DXMATRIX structure that is the result of the operation.
angle
The angle of rotation in radians. Angles are measured clockwise when looking along the rotation axis toward the origin.

Return Values

A pointer to a D3DXMATRIX structure rotated around the z-axis.

Remarks

The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOut parameter. In this way, the D3DXMatrixRotationZ function can be used as a parameter for another function.
