The D3DXVec2Normalize function returns the normalized version of the specified 2-D vector.

  D3DXVECTOR2* pOut,
  const D3DXVECTOR2* pV
);

Parameters

pOut
A pointer to the D3DXVECTOR2 structure that is the result of the operation.
pV
A pointer to the source D3DXVECTOR2 structure.

Return Values

A pointer to a D3DXVECTOR2 structure that is the normalized version of the specified vector.

Remarks

The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOut parameter. In this way, the D3DXVec2Normalize function can be used as a parameter for another function.
