The IDirectSound3DBuffer::GetConeOrientation method retrieves the orientation of the sound projection cone for this sound buffer.
HRESULT GetConeOrientation( LPD3DVECTOR lpvOrientation );
If the method succeeds, the return value is DS_OK.
If the method fails, the return value may be DSERR_INVALIDPARAM.
The values returned are not necessarily the same as those set by using the IDirectSound3DBuffer::SetConeOrientation method. DirectSound adjusts orientation vectors so that they are have a magnitude of less than or equal to 1.0.
Windows NT/2000: Requires Windows 2000.
Windows 95/98: Requires Windows 95 or later. Available as a redistributable for Windows 95.
