Platform SDK: Exchange Server |
This command-line program creates a new message in the default Inbox, and embeds a link to another message there. The folder path and partial subject of the linked message are taken from the command line. Assume for a moment that you have a message entitled "Hi, Mom" in your Inbox, and another message entitled "Lincoln project status summary" in a top-level Microsoft Exchange Server public folder named Projects. You would type
linkmm Inbox/Hi
to create a new message with a link to the first, and
linkmm Public Folders/All Public Folders/Projects/Lincoln project status
to create another new message with a link to the second message. (No quotes are necessary on the command line for linkmm, and it is not necessary to name the message store if you want the default store.)
