personal address book
A list of recipients created and maintained by an individual user for personal use. The personal address book is a subset of the global address list.
primary proxy address
The proxy address used when sending mail to a foreign system. A user can have only one primary proxy address. See also secondary proxy address.
Private Management Domain (PRMD)
An X.400 term describing a message transfer system. PRMDs are usually smaller than ADMDs, often existing at the organization level. When Microsoft Exchange Server creates X.400 addresses, the default is to assign PRMD the name of the Microsoft Exchange Server organization.
property
An attribute common to all instances of a MAPI object type. Examples of message object properties are message text and list of recipients. MAPI properties are included as part of the message objects or other objects they describe, and they derive from the IMAPIProp interface. Each property is a structure that consists of identifier, data type, and value.
property page
A dialog box that displays configuration information to the user and enables the user to modify the information. One or more property pages makes up a property sheet.
property sheet
A dialog box that displays configuration information to the user and enables the user to modify the information. A property sheet is composed of one or more property pages.
proxy address
A user’s Microsoft Exchange Server address translated to a foreign system address type. For example, the Microsoft Exchange Server address “EX:/o=microsoft/ou=sales/cn=PatParkes” can have the SMTP proxy address “SMTP:PatParkes@Microsoft.com” and the MS Mail proxy address “MS:Microsoft/Sales/PatParkes.” In the Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator program, a proxy address is called an e-mail address.
