Sample Applications

The Platform SDK includes a number of sample applications that extend or interact with the Microsoft Exchange Server platform. You can use them in the following ways:

• Compile and run the sample applications in their present form.
• Use the sample applications directly with Microsoft Exchange Server for increased functionality.
• Change the source code and create new applications that meet your organization's specific needs.

You can also use the sample applications as a learning tool by reviewing the source code, building the sample applications, and observing the methods employed.

Many of the sample applications are written in C/C++, with three new samples using COM classes from within Active Server Pages (ASP) applications.
