Platform SDK: Exchange Server

Running the Sample

To run the sample, point your browser to the sample file Logon.asp through the previously configured web server virtual directory. For example, http://server/samples/aclasp/Logon.asp. There you will be prompted for your network credentials. (If NTLM is allowed and you are logged in to a domain account, your network credentials will be used to provide your security context.) Once you've entered your credentials, do the following:

  1. Enter your Exchange Server name and your mailbox alias. This information is used for your CDO logon.
  2. Select an information store from a presented list of possible options.
  3. Navigate the hierarchy of folders and select one for which you would like to alter the ACL.
  4. You are presented with the current ACL for the folder. Credentials permitting, you can manipulate the ACL for the folder. The layout of the ACL page follows the layout used by Microsoft Outlook 98 on the permissions property page.
