Managing Mail Recipients

[This is preliminary documentation and subject to change.]

This topic covers the means by which Mail recipients can be programmatically managed for Microsoft® Exchange 2000 Server. The management is provided by CDOEXM interfaces aggregated into ADSI and CDO objects that are capable of acting as a recipient.

These interfaces are used in conjunction with information in CDO and ADSI objects for tasks such as creating, moving and deleting recipients. The interfaces also provide means of setting mailbox properties such as limits, forwarding properties, proxy addresses, and alias names.

See the following sub-topics for more information:

Recipient_Management Interfaces discusses the interfaces and where they fit into the CDO and ADSI models.

Recipients, Folders and Groups discusses the store items that can be managed as a recipient.
