You use the Exchange Workflow Designer if you are a typical workflow application developer wanting to take advantage of the built-in features of Exchange 2000 Server. This is a visual tool for constructing a state-machine diagram that is translated by the tool into an ActionTable. It provides workflow authors with a visual tool for creating their ProcessDefinition logic. You will use this tool to do the following:

• Model the workflow logic
• Add script actions and conditions to the logic
• Save the ProcessDefinition in a workflow folder

The following illustration shows a hypothetical workflow process for a course registration process.
