Workflow Event Sink

The workflow event sink is the interface between the Exchange 2000 Web Store process and the workflow engine. It is automatically registered as a COM+ application package when you install Exchange 2000 Server. You can view this package through the Administrative Tool, Component Services. The following illustration shows the Microsoft Management Console, Component Services snap-in with the workflow event sink COM+ package installed.

The workflow event sink receives event messages from the Web Store process and makes the appropriate call to the workflow engine. See the Workflow Engine topic for an illustration of the calling sequence.
