The following information covers conceptual details about Asynchronous Events.
Moving, copying or deleting a parent folder will not cause an asynchronous event notification.
Asynchronous events are typically processed immediately after the event is completed (committed), but the Store does not guarantee any timeframe. By the time an asynchronous event is called the item may already be deleted or moved.
Asynchronous events are processed after synchronous events even if synchronous and other asynchronous events fail. However asynchronous events are not processed if a synchronous event notification aborts the event.
Asynchronous events do not have any firing priority.
