[This is preliminary documentation and subject to change.]
This Web Store schema section describes how to create property and content classes definitions, and then how to configure those definitions so that properties are attributed, or scoped, to the desired folders and items. A typical hierarchy is an application folder containing a schema subfolder.
The following URLs to the folders are examples:
Folder | Example URL |
---|---|
application | file://./backofficestorage/domain.microsoft.com/public folders/application/ |
schema | file://./backofficestorage/domain.microsoft.com/public folders/application/schema/ |
Tip Create the folders on the host server using Windows Explorer and the file system access on the M: drive.
You can arrange the hierarchy of application and schema folders to what makes the best sense in your Web development environment. As you refine your application you may find that additional schema subfolders are helpful for refining the scope of your schema.
Next step: Define property definitions.
