Web Store Forms Registry

The Web Store Forms Registry provides a method of storing form registrations. The registration can specify customized forms and actions based on a set of properties. This provides a simple means to register and query forms associated with an item of a particular content class.

Registrations can be done on a per-folder basis. For example in a tracking application, I could create a schema sub-folder and store the registration and schema information for my application in that schema folder.

Registration on a per-folder basis simplifies the administration of an application since everything (forms and form definitions) is stored in the same location.

Forms can be registered with an absolute or relative to the registration item. The FormUrl can now take one of three forms:

• ../forms/form.htm - a relative URL, in which case it is relative to the form registration.
• /public/webapps/app/forms/form.htm - in which case it is "relative" to the virtual server from the HTTP request.
• Or <http://server/public/webapps/app/forms/form.htm> - in which case, no processing happens on it in EXDAV/DAVEX, and it is passed to the ExecuteUrl unadulterated. For Binding=Client and Binding=Auto, it must be a relative URL—the other two forms are not supported.
