The following scenarios describe how Designer HTML provides a robust tool for business uses:
Web database vendors no longer have to create WYSIWYG HTML editors that connect to their database-they can use the FrontPage authoring environment to create pages that connect to their database.
Commercial software that generates documents in proprietary document formats and adds custom HTML tags can be easily dropped into web pages with Designer HTML because Designer HTML recognizes specially designed HTML tags.
Rather than inserting a push button into a form field, a developer using Designer HTML could easily insert an ActiveX push button control that can feature pre-set color, font, and text display properties, complete with JavaScript code attached for processing the form.
There are many more exciting integration opportunities available with Designer HTML. Sample files are located in the Designer HTML folder in the SDK, and the sample files that ship with FrontPage also provide some different applications of Designer HTML.
